As promised, it's a promise. Here you have the second installment of the series of articles in our blog that we are dedicating to the models in our catalogue.
So if you liked the article about our wooden furniture but this material doesn't quite convince you, don't miss this compilation of our laminated models, and get some ideas to make the right choice!
Laminates
Let's start with the basics: what is laminate furniture? It is a piece of furniture that has been made from boards covered with laminated paper sheets (hence also known as laminates). These sheets are impregnated with thermosetting resins and bonded to the boards by means of pressure, which can be high or low.
An important part of this manufacturing process is the edging of the fronts and doors of our furniture. Therefore, we follow a system that ensures that the edge will not peel off with changes in temperature or humidity, which is very common in kitchens.
This type of material can replicate the aesthetics of different textures, such as wood or metal, in an increasingly realistic way. Read on to discover all the models we have in OB Kitchens.
Wood effect laminates
Undoubtedly, wood is one of the most demanded textures nowadays. The fidelity of this finish is increasingly greater, being able to replicate very different grains and shades, achieving a natural effect.
We begin our review with the Aleve model, a high-pressure laminate that replicates oak and that you can choose in natural or ash finish. We also find the oak effect (and its different variants) in the Amazonas or Alabama (available in natural, cognac, tobacco or white finish).
But we have many more options: Arizona, Athens (in natural or sand finish), Boston, Casella (with light, dark, white, brown or natural finish), Cooper, Frida, Ingo, Napoli (with white, natural, ivory or tobacco finish), Parona, Sherman, Valentina (which faithfully reproduces the walnut finish, and Vicenza.
which one do you like best?
In 2025 we have incorporated two new models with a different finish: Marzo and Acrópolis, which visually and very faithfully reproduce the texture of the wooden palilleria, but which are much more comfortable for daily cleaning.
Are you sure you don't want handles? Then your laminate furniture with a wood effect is the Kobe model. With a handle, you can find it in earth, ivory, white, nature, barenia, ochre and oak finishes.
Laminates with other textures
If you are looking for something different, we also have models that replicate the aesthetics of other materials. This is the case of Agra in silver finish, reminiscent of polished cement; or the Petrus model, reminiscent of stone; as well as the four finishes of our new Moa model:
Smooth laminates
Naturally, we also have a wide range of laminate models with a smooth finish.
We start with the Cali model, with a matt finish, available in white, beige, bromo and mocha. And in gloss, the Yeste, with a wide variety of colours to choose from: white beige, burgundy, medium grey, sand grey, lead blue, black, red and smoked.
We follow the Vitoria plain model, one of the most popular as we offer it in a wide range of finishes (with colours that are very trendy right now): white, black, bone, clay, soft grey, grey, green, smoked, sahara, sage or mocha.
If your thing is a full-colour kitchen, don't miss another of our bestsellers: the Berlin model. This is a laminated model with a base in MDF board and super matt lacquered on the front face. It is available in white, cloud grey, sea water, cream, terracotta, mocha, indigo, smoked, black, alaska, pearl grey, almagra and cameo.

With the same composition, only glossy, we have the Nantes model, in white finish; for those who want a shiny kitchen.
We finish with much more colour, that of our Fenix model. Manufactured with materials at the forefront of the latest innovations, at OB Cocinas we apply it to both sides of the worktops for an even more solid and resistant result.
You can choose between alaska white, off-white, bromine, green, blue, beige, black, grey and mocha
