Kitchens have long since ceased to be a mere place for work, with aesthetics subordinated to functionality and away from the gaze of visitors coming to the house.
Now, it is a space that we not only want to live in and feel at ease in, but also to show off with pride and integrate it into our home.
Perhaps that is why more and more people want to add a touch of luxury to their kitchens. Luxury, of course, interpreted as sophistication, passion, differentiation and comfort.
If you are one of these people, today we are going to tell you some tricks to live your kitchen with all luxury details. Take note!
Timeless gold
Let's start with one of the luxury basics par excellence: gold tones. This finish has undergone a renaissance in recent years, always incorporated in a subtle way into the decoration of your home.
In the case of kitchens, it is often integrated into plain and even minimalist designs through handles, taps... and even sinks!
Also through details in furniture or kitchenware, as in this project by our French distributor ABP Partner and decorator Alexandra Roman. The result reminds us of the cafés and bistros of Paris. Trés chic !

Don't stop shining
Following the line of luxury classics, here's another idea: include glass in your kitchen design, especially if you're going for neutral colours.
In this example from Cuisine ETC we find a beautiful combination: that of our grey-toned liberia laminate model with diamond knobs. The neutrality of the fronts looks great with the opulent touch of the knobs.

Luxury Minimalism
When it comes to luxury, materials are everything, especially if we opt for a minimalist atmosphere.
This is what Sistema Cuina do in almost all their kitchen projects, in which they not only opt for our furniture, but also for other materials, such as the stone-effect porcelain stoneware worktop in the photo below.

This project gives us another key to minimalist luxury design: integrate as many appliances as possible and, if not, choose them in the same colour as the kitchen fronts.

Sit in style
Chairs and stools can make a big difference to the ambience of your kitchen or dining room; and a good choice can take you from a bland design to one that is full of personality and luxury.
For example, the dining area of this kitchen designed by F Alba. If you don't believe it, try to imagine it with some wooden chairs:

Lamps with personality
Here's a tip for everyone: if you want to add a touch of glamour without spending a fortune, differentiate yourself with lamps with personality!
No matter what style you are looking for, there is always an option for you. For example, in this project by Rivas Sánchez Carpinteros they have opted for a more classic take on the luxury idea by installing pendant lights in silver tones above the white marble worktop.

In this other example from Cuisine en Scene, a touch of Mid Century style has been given through this impressive geometric lamp:

But if living in the present is your thing, you can always opt for modern design lamps, like the one in this project by our distributor Jorge Fernández Grupo; which gives it a twist to the classic fluorescent tube.

Aiming with light
We finish our list with even more light: light that you can integrate into the interior of your furniture to add functionality and/or prominence.
You can use it to highlight the warmth of a piece of furniture and its vintage feel, as in this niche installed by Sistema Cuina:

Or to give an elegant touch to a rustic kitchen, as in the display cabinet of this NM Cuines project:
