White L-shaped kitchen with laminate finish
Simple, functional and very cosy. This is what this kitchen designed by our Vitoria distributor Kela Interiorismo looks like. But don't be fooled. Behind this apparent simplicity, a large number of well-taken decisions are hidden. As happens in all good designs. Let's take a look at some of the most important ones.
First of all, the layout. The space destined for this kitchen-diner is rectangular in shape with a single entrance of natural light. The solution to gain luminosity? To create a semi-open room to the living room, separated only by a large sliding glass door (with a black frame, so on-trend).
Through it, we pass through to a small dining area presided over by a round table, to then reach the kitchen area, laid out in the shape of a U. On its three walls we can see the work triangle perfectly drawn: on the right, the cooking area, at the back the storage area and, on the left, the water area (which also has a large storage capacity). This makes it very easy to move around the kitchen.
Making the most of the available square metres was a priority in this project. For this reason, not a single centimetre has been left free on the back wall and wall units have also been installed in the water area (pay attention to the detail of the built-in light!). However, in order not to create too cluttered an atmosphere, the cooking area has been left free of wall elements, apart from the extractor hood. Another wise decision by our dealer.
Finally, we would like to highlight the choice of materials. For the base units, Kela Interiorismo has chosen our Calpe model, lacquered in matt white. This model has the particularity of having a direct handle, which gives a minimalist and very practical aspect to the set. For the wall units they have opted for our Gandía model, also dispensing with a handle so as not to break the aesthetics. To create contrast, open units have also been installed with our Valentina model, laminated with a walnut effect.
