White kitchen with peninsula laminate finish
There are kitchens that exude originality and personality in abundance. And that is what happens with this one, signed by the Sevillian company Egion, specialist in the execution of Architecture and Interior Design Projects; for which it has counted on the know-how of our distributor Confort Kitchen.
Wait a minute... can a white, minimalist kitchen be full of character? Of course it can! We'll tell you how.
The first thing we have to be clear about is that, in the world of interior design, it is not only the furniture and pieces you include in a space that count, but the space itself and how it plays with the different elements it contains. This kitchen is a clear example. It is located inside a house in the Triana neighbourhood, which has been completely refurbished by Egion to create a contemporary and minimalist aesthetic while maintaining original elements. In the specific case of the kitchen, they have kept the forged iron gate (very typical of Andalusian houses), the vaulted ceiling and a wall and window frame made of exposed clay brick.
Our Berlin laminate model in white with a gola handle adds a modern touch. With it, the kitchen has been arranged in parallel as follows. On the one hand, there is the linear wall, where the refrigerator, an oven and microwave column, the sink and low and high furniture for storage have been placed. In front of it, Confort Kitchen has installed a super-practical peninsula in which we find, in addition to storage space, a gas cooker and a breakfast bar.
And now begins the most interesting part of this project: the play of textures. The simplicity of the Berlin model becomes the perfect canvas on which to combine the white marble of the worktops and the different shades of white of the ceramic wall cladding. Together with the light grey of the floor, the black wrought iron of the gate and the hanging hood, the exposed brick and the wood of the stools, the result is simply spectacular.
The finishing touch comes in the form of the cosy dining area behind the peninsula, where you are sure to want to spend many hours.
