White and wood kitchen with island laminate finished
If there is one thing that our distributor Nivel 2 Muebles excels at, it is creating impeccable projects; and this kitchen was not going to be any different. The first thing that strikes us when we enter this open concept kitchen is the feeling of cleanliness and tranquillity that it conveys. Do you want to know how they have achieved it? Let's go point by point!
As you can imagine, the basis for creating this atmosphere is the white colour chosen for most of the furniture. This is our Cali model, made of high-pressure laminate with a matte finish that, in addition to being very resistant, is very easy to clean. What more could you ask of a white kitchen? In order not to break the minimalist harmony generated, Nivel 2 Muebles has dispensed with handles on the wall units, which open by pressing thanks to our Tip-On assisted opening system. On the base units, we have opted for very discreet stainless steel profile handles, matching the taps, fridge and the oven and microwave column.
The minimalist atmosphere continues in the surface of the furniture, where our distributor has opted for a white worktop that "climbs" up the wall covering the work area. They didn't even want to break this aesthetic with the glass ceramic hob... which is also white to blend in perfectly with the whole!
Given this description, we might imagine a cold environment, but nothing could be further from the truth. To introduce a warm touch, Nivel 2 Muebles has combined the Cali model with Amazonas, one of our oak-effect laminates. This model has been integrated into the wall units. These are also shallower, creating an upper bridge that facilitates work in the cooking area and creates an effect of depth.
To create a visual counterbalance and reinforce this cosy atmosphere, our dealer has chosen some wooden stools upholstered in mint green that look great on the very simple island. In the dining area we find these two finishes again - perfect for never wanting to leave your favourite room in the house!
