Parallel white kitchen with lacquered finish
Small spaces, big solutions! This seems to have been the motto of Muebles Fran, one of our distributors in Barcelona, when it came to tackling this renovation project. Starting with an open space of approximately 9 m2, he has created a very complete, functional kitchen that is capable of transmitting calm. The key? The parallel distribution, which is perfect for this type of space, as long as it has a minimum width of 2.5 metres. Let's take a look at all the details!
In this kitchen, the space has been organised according to the tasks to be carried out in it. Thus, the front on the left is dedicated to everything necessary for food preparation. We thus find, in this order, a column in which the refrigerator has been integrated and another one dedicated mainly to the oven and microwave. The line continues with base units that house storage space and the glass ceramic hob. Above them, and so as not to lose a single centimetre, a row of units that make use of almost the entire height of the ceiling.
On the right-hand front, on the other hand, we will find, in addition to plenty of storage, everything related to water, such as the sink and an integrated dishwasher. Most of the furniture on this shelf is low, with the exception of a tall unit with a shutter, which is probably used to store the hot water boiler. This wall has a window, so there are not many tall units, giving a feeling of spaciousness.
For all the low furniture, Muebles Fran has opted for our Lagos model lacquered in white, a very interesting option to provide luminosity without losing an ounce of character, thanks to the frame that we see in the fronts of this model. In the wall units, we have opted for the plain fronts of our Gandía model, also lacquered in white, so as not to create visual noise at eye level. To continue adding personality and warmth, our distributor has installed worktops in clay tones, matching the floor and wall cladding.
As you can see, this kitchen lacks nothing. In fact, right next to it, in a space that would have been wasted, they have placed a small round table for two people, creating a perfect oceanside setting.
