There are many ways to give personality to your kitchen furniture, but without a doubt, one of the simplest and most effective ways is through doors and drawer fronts with mouldings.
Although in recent years plain furniture has become the norm, the reality is that mouldings are making a comeback, renewed and with almost infinite design patterns. There is nothing better to give character to your favourite room in the house and set yourself apart.
Because minimalism is all very well, but there are many more options, even if you are looking for a neutral and timeless aesthetic for your kitchen. Don't you believe it? We'll show you some examples made by our distributors.
Minimalist rustic
We'll start with the image at the top of this article, from a project by our distributor Nivel 2 Muebles. Although the term "rustic minimalist" may have rattled your ears a little, we can't think of a better way to describe this project.
It meets all the requirements of a minimalist design: white as the predominant colour, including the electrical appliances, no handles, clean atmosphere... However, there are a couple of details that break the aseptic atmosphere that usually surrounds this style.
On the one hand, the warmth provided by the wood finish details and, on the other, the door and drawer mouldings. This is our Habana model, made of solid oak wood and lacquered in white.
can you imagine how different it would be if the furniture doors were completely smooth?
Muebles Fran
Contemporary warmth
With a very similar design pattern, but with a completely opposite style, we move on to the next project, signed by Muebles Fran.
In it they have used our Colonia model lacquered in fumé to create a very intimate and cosy aesthetic thanks to the relief and its combination with the wood; but with the contemporary touch given by the black colour and the plain white worktops.
Cuisines ETC
Classic delicacy
You know how big a fan we are of grey kitchens so we couldn't fail to include a project in this colour in our compilation.
This is a kitchen designed by Cuisines ETC, one of our distributors in France, and is a clear example of how mouldings can completely change an atmosphere.
Grey is a colour that we usually associate with industrial, neutrality and lack of personality. A priori, it can even convey coldness or boredom... but we find none of that in this kitchen!
And this is due, in part, to the moulding of our Liberia model, which takes away the weight and seriousness of the whole, bringing a touch of delicacy and serenity. For an extra touch of elegance, nothing like the diamond-shaped handles.
Sistema Cuina
Cool and cosy
bringing warmth to a cool colour? Yes, it's possible! As you can already imagine, the answer is... including fronts with mouldings in the design!
For example, this kitchen from our distributor Sistema Cuina. In it, they have used our Lagos model lacquered in clay green with a matt finish as the basis of a fresh, welcoming and casual design. To complete it, they have opted for finishes with a natural and/or artisan effect, such as the white marble worktop, the tile cladding in various shades and the wooden details.
Master Kitchen Polo
Framing luxury
We finish our review with a kitchen with a very different style to the previous one: classic luxury in all its splendour.
And in this kitchen signed by our distributor Máster Kitchen Polo, everything shines, starting with our Lille model lacquered in gloss white, the taps and handles in rose gold finish and the worktop with a polished marble effect.
A great option for those who are looking for a classic look and a feeling of cleanliness, luxury and brightness to accompany them in their daily lives.
