We recently shared some tips on kitchen lighting for creating functional spaces with the right lighting.<\/p>\n

Since we wanted more inspiration, today we’ve gathered some ceiling lights that will look fantastic in your kitchen. Because it’s not all about recessed spotlights and ceiling lights. And fluorescent tubes are a thing of the past.<\/p>\n

Metal cage lamp<\/h2>\n

You’ve probably seen them more than once. These metal lamps that reveal the bulb arrived a few years ago, and time has proven they’re here to stay.<\/p>\n

The most common are the black lacquered ones, which look great in white and wooden kitchens; but copper and gold-effect finishes have recently gained popularity.<\/p>\n

Important: the bulb you use should not only provide good light but also be aesthetically pleasing.<\/p>\n

With globe-shaped shades<\/h2>\n

Who doesn’t remember those Art Deco lamps with a frosted glass sphere? Well, they’re back, with a vengeance and, sometimes, profoundly reinterpreted, as in the example we’re showing you. While before a single sphere hung from a metal rod, now there are designs with several spheres mounted horizontally.<\/p>\n

We also find them in floor lamp, table lamp, and even wall lamp formats.<\/p>\n\n\n

Natural fibers\u2026 even on the ceiling!<\/h2>\n

Including natural fibers is a great trick to add warmth to a white kitchen, or to bring a rustic or organic touch to kitchens of any color.<\/p>\n

You can incorporate them through different elements, including lamps! And there’s something for everyone: they come in wood, esparto grass, wicker, raffia, large, small, bell-shaped, round\u2026 you’ll have a hard time choosing!<\/p>\n

Tubular Lamps<\/h2>\n

They couldn’t be more fashionable. Their sleek and understated design is making them a must-have in kitchens. They’re available in black and metallic finishes, as well as in various lengths.<\/p>\n

Because of the focused light they emit, they’re typically installed above kitchen islands; always in pairs or more, arranged in a row or cluster.<\/p>\n

If you haven’t noticed them before, you’ll soon see them everywhere.<\/p>\n

Between Industrial and Vintage<\/h2>\n

Lamps with metal shades are already a staple in kitchens. This material requires little maintenance, is very durable, and what’s more\u2026 they look good in almost any style!<\/p>\n

They can add an industrial or vintage touch, or, as in the example in the previous photo, help us create an eclectic and avant-garde style.<\/p>\n

By the way, have you noticed the LED strips that frame the ceiling? Another great way to illuminate from above.<\/p>\n

Ceramics for the Kitchen<\/h2>\n

Have you ever considered using a lamp with a ceramic or porcelain shade? It’s certainly a very common material for table lamps, but now it’s increasingly common to see them used for ceiling lamp shades. And it’s no wonder\u2014they add a very original and warm touch.<\/p>\n
