If there is one thing we are passionate about at OB Cocinas, it is keeping abreast of the latest trends in interior design (both within and outside our borders).
This is the only way we can detect those little clues that give us the keys to continue innovating in our design proposals, both aesthetically and functionally; to continue making the kitchen your favourite room.
So, here are some of the decorating ideas that we think will be on trend in 2025.
don't miss out on the details!
Neutrality and calm
It's been proven: turning our kitchen into an oasis of calm and well-being was not just a passing fad. We spend more and more time in this room and we ask the same of it as we do of the rest of the house: to feel as comfortable as possible in it.
And in this respect, neutral colours with earthy tones have a lot to say. Beige, bone, sand or clay are some of the names that are going to make a strong statement in the colour palette of kitchen studios this year.

White yes, but with wood
Although the colour white will never go out of fashion, we are starting to say goodbye to the total white. This is precisely due to the great impact that other neutral tones are having, as we have just seen.
The key is to continue opting for another timeless classic: the combination of white and wood. Along the same lines, light wood tones are the ones we will see most in kitchens.
For big personalities
If what you are looking for is a kitchen that conveys your overwhelming personality, don't worry, we have also seen that some striking colours are still very much in fashion.
Specifically: almagra, deep greens, dark blues and black. But don't forget. Don't forget to include elements that detract from the overall weight, preferably in natural materials such as wood, so that they don't detract from the calm atmosphere that is so fashionable.

Wallpaper
As you read it. It has been a few years since wallpaper made a strong comeback (with new designs, of course) in the world of interior design.
In kitchens, its incorporation has been a little more timid, but we are seeing it in more and more projects. Above all, in dining areas or in those where there is no cooking. This is helped by the fact that today's wallpaper is made to be durable and moisture resistant, making it a practical as well as an aesthetically pleasing option.
The most popular designs are florals and geometric patterns in soft tones.
At a glance
The display cabinets couldn't be more fashionable right now. Especially those with a large presence in the kitchen, such as these in a column:.
These cabinets offer an elegant way to store and display utensils, crockery or even small decorative objects. They are also a great way to add brightness, as you can include lighting inside.
Open space taken to the extreme
It is becoming increasingly common to find open concept interior design projects where it is difficult to tell where the kitchen begins and the living room begins.
This is because a holistic approach to design has been taken from the outset. Kitchen, dining room and living room merge into a single space generated to give a sense of continuity in open-plan spaces.
Or closed spaces (with a trick)
Although the open concept trend continues, there are still those who prefer another design that is gaining in popularity every day: separating the kitchen and living room by means of glass walls or large windows. An ideal way to delimit space and have some privacy without losing a drop of natural light or visual amplitude.
