In today’s article we have delved into our photo archive to bring you the inspiration you need to choose your kitchen stools.
The thing is, this furniture is much more important than you think when it comes to completing (and even creating) the definitive ambience for your kitchen. For open-plan kitchens, they can be a key piece to unite and accent the decoration in both areas. If you would like more tips on this, don’t miss the article How to integrate open-plan kitchens with the living room.
But back to stools, and before we move on to the selection of images from our distributors' projects, allow us to give you a preliminary tip: aesthetics are important (at least for us); but comfort and ergonomics must come first. For this reason, our first tip is that you pay close attention to the height of the stools and check that it is right for you and for the available space.
And now, to hunt ideas!

An organic touch
In this project our distributor Alain Sevilla chose black metal stools and a half height backrest made from wood fibres. They provide an organic contrast to the kitchen peninsula, which is more minimalist and industrial in style, and they balance and complement the main unit which has a wood-effect finish. We love them!

Long live contrast!
Metallic, monotone and without back support. These are the stools chosen by our distributor Mobles Zamora for this unique project. The black colour complements the ceiling vaults and ties in with the appliances and hanging lights; creating a clear contrast with the white kitchen units and the light wood breakfast bar/peninsula.

A Nordic touch
We can now say for sure: Nordic style came, conquered and stayed. It's hardly surprising, given that it offers the perfect combination of simplicity and warmth. A clear example of this is the project undertaken by Cocinas Polo, which combined our furniture with a white finish with an impressive wooden worktop for the kitchen island. The perfect accessory? Some stools with a white backrest, wooden legs and lacquered metal bracing.

Relaxed and refreshing
These two adjectives are the ones which best describe the stools chosen by our distributor Nivel 2 Muebles for this beautiful kitchen project. The teal and white woven seat brings memories of summer for us. And for you?

Completely built-in
In Muebles Basoko Altzariak’s project, they opted for stools with straight lines and simplicity in black, in coordination with the wall panelling and worktop. Despite having a backrest (extra comfort!) they do not take centre stage in the kitchen; they are visually very light.

For those who love to chat
If what you are looking for is comfort, we recommend you choose some stools like the ones selected by our friends at Casa Design - Cozinhas e Interiores for this project. Padded and with a big backrest, they’ll make you want to stay in the kitchen forever, The choice of colour is also a great success in our opinion, given that dark grey goes with everything and brings a perfect visual weight to this kitchen.
